Example Nazis Tried:
-Hermann Goering/Goring:
"Naturally the common people don't want war… It is the leaders of the country who determine
policy, and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along… Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought
to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. It works the same in any country."
― Goering, Nuremberg Diaries
Said to be Hitler’s second hand man, Hermann Goering was “the moving force, second only
to his leader. He was the leading war aggressor, both as political and as military leader.” (quote from judgment
on H. Goering).
Goering spread Nazism, including encouraging racial mistreatment and carrying out human slaughter.
He was found guilty of 3 counts and sentence to death by hanging. However, his sentence could not be carried out as he committed
suicide.
-Adolf
Heichman:
Responsible for the deportation and smuggling of millions of Jews – Heichman, like many other
Nazis was smuggled to Argentina, where he hid from Nazi-Hunters. Later, he was finally caught to Israel and executed.
Many Nazi generals, like Hiechman, fled to places like South America, Russia, and the US. In fact, quite
a few Nazis were never caught.
